Your good work deserves a GoodWord.
References from people who have worked with you, in one report you send with every job application.

Why a resume alone is not enough
You + a resume = a robot.
Most resumes now pass through the same AI tools and come out sounding the same. To a recruiter, you read like everyone else.
You + GoodWord = a human.
Three people who have worked with you describe your work in their own words. It gives recruiters and hiring managers what a resume never can: the word of someone who was there.
How it works
-
Invite up to 5 people
Former managers, peers and clients. You choose who. Nobody else is contacted.
-
They answer in about 5 minutes
Each one gets a private link and a short questionnaire to answer in their own words. We remind them on day 3 and day 7.
-
Three answers make your report
You cannot edit what they wrote. Send it with every application as a link or a PDF.
What “verified” means here.
We check that each reference came from the email address you gave us. We also look for signs of misuse. Every report says, in a word, how confident we are that its references are real and independent: Basic, Moderate, Good or Strong.
We do not check ID documents or employment records, so this is not a background check. Nobody can edit what a referee writes, not you and not us. The short summary at the top of a report is written with AI from their words. Their words are never changed.
A report is made once three people respond. If fewer do, there is no report.
Made by a candidate, for candidates.
When I was job hunting, my applications landed in a pile. Nothing set them apart. GoodWord is what I wished I had.
